Can I change, enable or disable my 2FA method?

Yes, you can manage your 2FA method through your SELFCARE account. By default, email authentication is set as your primary 2FA method based on your SELFCARE account profile email.

If you wish to change your 2FA method, you may enable Google Authenticator by following these steps:

1. Click My Account on the left menu and select 2FA – Email & Google Authenticator.
2. Click ON for Google Authenticator.
3. A pop-up notification will be displayed.
4. Download the Google Authenticator app from Google Playstore, Apple App Store or Huawei AppGallery.
5. Scan the QR code.
6. Enter the generated code from the app. The code is time-based and will expire automatically. Please use the latest code generated in your Google Authenticator app.

Notes:
  • Once enabled, Google Authenticator will become your primary 2FA method.
  • If you disable Google Authenticator, your 2FA method will automatically revert to email authentication.
  • Please note that 2FA cannot be completely disabled as it is required for security purposes.
