You may need to change the registrant of a domain name in the following situations:
- To correct errors in the registrant name
- To update the registrant details
- To transfer ownership of the domain name to another party
Only users with the administrative role can perform this change. Please follow the steps below:
- Log in to SELFCARE.
- Go to Domains.
- Select the domain from the list (changes can only be made one domain at a time) and click Manage.
- Under the Contact Information tab, go to the Registrant section and click Edit.
- Update the registrant details.
- Click the Save button.
- Wait for approval (supporting documents must be submitted within 14 days to customercare@mynic.my).
Note: The administrative contact will receive the email notifications.
